Why Did Yash Postpone His Massive Blockbuster?
Fans of “Rocking Star” Yash were shocked today to learn that his highly anticipated film, Toxic, will no longer hit theaters this month. Originally set for a March 19 release, the producers decided to push the global premiere to June 4, 2026. The reason? The team cited the ongoing instability and conflict in the Middle East, explaining that since the film is built for a global audience, the current situation makes it difficult to have the wide international reach they were aiming for.
While some fans were disappointed to wait longer, most have praised Yash for making a “sensible decision.” Moving the date also avoids a massive box office collision with Ranveer Singh’s spy thriller Dhurandhar 2, which is still on track for its March release. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic is described as a “fairy tale for grown-ups” and features a star-studded cast including Nayanthara and Kiara Advani. Now, both films have a clear path to potentially break records without eating into each other’s ticket sales.
