Ranveer Singh continues to prove his strong box office pull as his latest film Dhurandhar has recorded the highest opening day net collection of his career at the Indian box office. The film opened to an impressive ₹28.60 crore on its first day, surpassing his previous best opener Padmaavat, which collected ₹24 crore on day one.
Over the years, Ranveer Singh has delivered several strong opening day performances. Films like Simmba (₹20.72 crore) and Gully Boy (₹19.40 crore) also had powerful starts, showcasing his growing popularity and consistent pull among audiences across India.
Other notable openings in his career include Gunday (₹16.12 crore) and Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela (₹16 crore), both of which were major hits during their time. Historical drama Bajirao Mastani collected ₹12.80 crore on its opening day, while sports drama 83 opened with ₹12.64 crore at the box office.
Meanwhile, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani registered an opening of ₹11.10 crore. Interestingly, Dhurandhar 2 has already collected ₹10.76 crore with three days still to go before its final opening tally, hinting that the film could climb further in Ranveer Singh’s opening day rankings.
