At the same time, TVK’s General Secretary, Aadhav Arjuna, is making it clear that they are staying independent. Despite rumors of high-stakes offers—including a rotational Chief Minister post and up to 90 assembly seats—Arjuna says Vijay has rejected them all. They are choosing to contest all 234 seats alone because they refuse to “succumb to Delhi” or compromise their ideology. For Vijay and his team, this isn’t about making deals behind closed doors; it’s about winning the direct trust of the people and offering a completely fresh start for the state.
