While many were excited to see Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, a vocal group of fans criticized the visuals, calling the VFX “video game-like” and “unrealistic.” However, Bollywood’s own “Greek God” Hrithik Roshan isn’t having it! In a heartfelt Instagram post shared this weekend, Hrithik came out in full support of the filmmakers, calling them his “heroes” for having the guts to take on such a massive, ₹4,000-crore project.
Hrithik made a really interesting point: he explained that “bad VFX” is usually just a style that the audience didn’t expect. He compared it to different art styles, like how some people prefer photorealistic movies while others love a “storybook” or “divine” look. He reminded everyone that thousands of artists work for years to bring these films to life and urged fans to “bash with better awareness.” Instead of just asking if it looks real, he suggests asking if the style fits the story. It’s a pretty refreshing take from a superstar who knows a thing or two about big-budget action and visual effects
