Is the Original Incredible Hulk Finally Making a Comeback for Avengers: Doomsday?
Marvel fans are buzzing after Mark Ruffalo recently addressed the big question: will the Hulk smash his way into Avengers: Doomsday or Secret Wars? While the MCU has officially confirmed the return of heavy hitters like Chris Evans as Captain America and Robert Downey Jr. (this time as Doctor Doom), the Green Goliath’s future has been a bit more mysterious. Ruffalo recently dropped a bombshell, hinting that while he isn’t currently on the roster for Doomsday, he’s definitely not closing the door on Secret Wars. He’s always said he’ll return as long as there are “cool things to do” with the character, and with a multiversal war on the horizon, the possibilities are endless.
Adding to the excitement, rumors are swirling about other versions of the Hulk making an appearance. From Edward Norton’s 2008 Bruce Banner to the legendary Lou Ferrigno, fans are desperate to see a “Hulk-verse” moment similar to what we saw in Spider-Man: No Way Home. While Marvel is keeping their cards close to their chest, set photos from the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day have already spotted Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner, proving the character is still very much a part of the action. Whether we get one Hulk or an entire army of them, it’s clear that the strongest Avenger still has a massive role to play in the MCU’s epic finale.
