There’s also major concern over the film’s “we will fight” slogan, which some fear could incite communal tension or even violence.The petition basically claims that the film board failed to do its job by ignoring rules that protect public order and decency. It points out that while the first film had to include a disclaimer admitting its “data” was fictionalized, this sequel was cleared without enough scrutiny regarding its impact on regional dignity. For now, the petitioner is asking the court to scrap the certification, change the title, and put the release on hold until things are cleared up. The court will pick the case back up this Tuesday.
