Just one day after a single judge paused the movie over concerns it might harm the state’s reputation, a higher Division Bench stepped in to lift the stay. The judges noted that since the Censor Board (CBFC) had already cleared the film, it shouldn’t be blocked without a deeper review. This last-minute win for producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah means the movie can now play in over 1,500 theaters as originally planned.
The sequel, directed by Kamakhya Narayan Singh, moves beyond its predecessor to tell a broader story about religious conversion through the eyes of three women played by Ulka Gupta, Aditi Bhatia, and Aishwarya Ojha.
