Usually, these “Pan-India” movies cost hundreds of crores to produce because of the huge sets, thousands of extras, and expensive VFX. RGV believes AI is the ultimate “greatest equalizer,” allowing a single person with a creative vision to compete with the biggest studios in the world without needing a massive bank account.
This shift means the future of cinema might rely more on a great story than a huge budget. RGV explains that AI tools can now handle complex tasks like high-end visual effects, realistic digital characters, and grand scenery that used to take years and millions of dollars to finish. While some fear this tech might replace human jobs, RGV sees it as a way to set creators free. For him, the era of “mega-budgets” is fading, and a new age is starting where a brilliant idea is the only currency you really need to make a masterpiece.
