Fans are shocked after Priyanka Chopra revealed that her upcoming epic, Varanasi, has already been in production for 14 months—and there are still six months left to go! Working with “perfectionist” director S.S. Rajamouli (of RRR fame) is no quick task. Priyanka joked that while the director takes his time to build massive, “career-defining” worlds, the results are always worth the wait.
The film is a huge ₹1,000 crore time-travel adventure where Priyanka plays a character named Mandakini. She even admitted she practically begged Rajamouli for a big dance number, which she’s now “regretting” because the choreography is so intense! Starring alongside Mahesh Babu, Priyanka promises that this global spectacle will redefine Indian cinema when it finally hits theaters in April 2027.
