Just hours after the vote, Vijay was forced to revoke the appointment of his personal astrologer, Radhan Pandit, as an “Officer on Special Duty” following massive backlash from both the opposition and his own coalition partners.

The AIADMK, currently facing its own internal split, took a sharp jab at the new CM, joking that the astrologer “failed to foresee his own fate” before being sacked.
